Opportunity:
As a Senior Python Developer, you will be responsible for designing, integrating, and managing applications aimed at enhancing performance, modernizing architecture, and optimizing workflows on Google Cloud. You’ll be part of a skilled engineering team dedicated to developing the next generation of our core services, collaborating with architects within a larger development team.
We are seeking an experienced software engineer who is a team player, eager to explore new technologies, and passionate about continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other developers and Product Managers, to deliver high-quality features and solutions.
- Contribute to the existing codebase and maintain current products.
- Ensure top-tier product quality by conducting code reviews and running tests to ensure confidence in releases.
- Manage the entire software development lifecycle from conception through deployment.
- Supervise the analysis, development, and execution of software components.
- Mentor junior team members, helping them grow professionally.
Skills and Experience Needed:
- 4+ years of experience in Python development.
- Strong understanding of REST API concepts.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, Cloudflare, CDNs, and DNS networking fundamentals.
- Knowledge of SQL databases.
- Understanding of OAuth standards.
