Job Description
Visualization Developer (C++/JavaScript) – Automotive Data
📍 Location: Flexible
💼 Seniority: Regular
Project Overview:
Develop and maintain a cross-platform client-side visualization tool to record and playback vehicle sensor data. The tool will handle various automotive data formats.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and extend existing data acquisition systems for vehicles and ECUs
- Acquire and decode vehicle data based on communication protocols
- Present decoded data (tables, plots, 3D graphics) for analysis
- Develop user interface features and extensions
- Create Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for different requests and integrate into the solution
Required Skills:
- Proficient in C++ (C++11 and newer)
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript/Node.js
- Strong understanding of OOP and Design Patterns
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP, IP, UDP)
- Experience with Git
- Experience with cross-compilation tools (MinGW, Cygwin)
Nice to Have:
- Proficient in JavaScript/Node.js
- Familiarity with automotive data formats (.DAT, .MDF4)
- Knowledge of PLP and CMP protocols
- Strong networking skills (Linux/Windows)
- Experience with packet capture libraries like libpcap
Languages:
- English: B2 (Upper Intermediate)
