Senior React Web Engineer – 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

We’re looking for an experienced React Web Engineer to join us for a 12-month contract. If you have a deep passion for web development and want to contribute to exciting, high-impact projects, we’d love to hear from you.
Salary: Up to £60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Role Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain efficient web applications using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
- Use Vite for fast development and optimized build processes.
- Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Vitest to ensure quality.
- Create reusable UI components and document them in Storybook.
- Collaborate across teams to deliver a seamless, high-performance product.
- Contribute to code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and stay updated on emerging web technologies.
What You Need:
- 5+ years of web development experience, particularly with complex applications.
- Expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern web technologies like Tailwind CSS.
- Experience with Vite for optimized development workflows.
- Strong knowledge of testing frameworks like Vitest or Jest.
- Familiarity with Storybook for developing and documenting UI components.
- Knowledge of API integration, state management libraries, and version control (Git).
- Ability to work independently in a distributed team environment.
- Experience in the financial services industry is beneficial but not required.
Location: Fully remote within the UK, or other locations if you have excellent written and spoken English skills and are eligible to work in the UK.
Working Hours: Flexible, but willingness to work outside of standard hours during critical phases leading up to launch is expected.
